Bayport Flower Houses began in the early 1930s as a small family-run flower farm specializing in field-grown carnations. Maria and Paul Auwaerter built their business on quality, community, and service, setting the foundation for what would become a beloved Long Island garden tradition.
Today Bayport Flower Houses remains proudly family-owned, led by third and fourth-generation Auwaerters. The shop has grown into a full-service florist, garden center, and landscaping destination known for exceptional plants, creative floral design, and genuine customer care.
With nearly a century of service behind us, Bayport Flower Houses continues to evolve while preserving the values that shaped us. We are committed to expanding our greenhouse offerings, enhancing our customer experience, and cultivating beauty in our community for generations to come.
